2 ripe avocados
1/2 minced red onion
1 minced serrano chile, stems and seeds removed
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1/2 chopped tomato
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
A dash of black pepper
Cut avocados in half and remove pit. Scoop out avocado from the peel, put in a mixing bowl.
Using a fork, mash the avocado. Add the chopped onion, chile, cilantro, tomato, lime, salt and pepper and continue to mash.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
