Ingredients
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon corn oil
1 19 ounce can black beans
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
Cook garlic in oil in a skillet over moderate heat, stirring often for 1 minute. Add beans with their liquid and mash until it makes a coarse purée. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until hot and creamy. Remove from heat and sprinkled with cilantro.
